Bodice detail of the 18th century gown. It is worn over a period corset, is flatlined with coutil, and is boned with spring steel. Pattern is adapted from Janet Arnold's Patterns of Fashion, and altered for fit and design details.

I love that stripey fabric and the colour of the sleeve flounce fabric too! The detail on he bodice is also beautiful :)
